Sacrificial Altar

Antique Roman Forum in Zadar is the heart of the town, back then as well as today. It remained spiritual and physical centre, later determined by the Christian cathedral. The actual mediator between divine and human on the Forum, the crossover of these two principles was the blood of the sacrified animal draining into the crowd. The actual canal connecting sacrificial altar and public part of Forum is still present.
Using the red plastic tape canal was marked. The aplied red tape extended length of the canal and continued into the public area of Forum. The intervention lenght was determined by the golden cut proportions of the town in proportion to the canal size.
